Edmund de Waal has created a poster design for Giulio Cesare using liquid kaolin, gold leaf, red oil stick, charcoal and graphite. Favouring a more traditional approach and incorporating typographic elements that include the opera’s acts and the name of its composer Handel, the striking minimalist design references the first edition of the opera score from 1724.
