This wonderful Glyndebourne Festival 2024 Manifold Directors Chair is designed by Conrad Shawcross.

This outdoor dining chair is crafted from high-quality materials, selected for its weather-resistant properties and longevity.

Great for garden parties, outdoor concerts and sporting events. This chair is made with a sustainable and durable hardwood, finished with teak oil.  We are committed to caring for the environment with this sustainably sourced timber with PEFC certification.

The seat and back is printed cotton which feels nice to touch and has a natural spring to it which makes it very comfortable.

As part of its 90-year anniversary celebrations, Glyndebourne has partnered with one of Britain’s leading artists, Conrad Shawcross RA, to produce an ambitious presentation of works with a distinct relationship to music and sound across our site. This includes nine large-scale outdoor sculptures, works on paper in the Archive Gallery and 13 bronze sculptures in the Old Green Room.

Conrad Shawcross RA (b. 1977) lives and works in London, UK. Shawcross is represented by Victoria Miro London/Venice and was made a Royal Academician in 2014; the youngest living Academician at the time. He has exhibited at leading institutions in London, including The Royal Academy of Arts, Saatchi Gallery, Barbican and Whitechapel Gallery, among many more internationally.
