Peter Grimes was first staged at Glyndebourne in 1992, continuing Glyndebourne’s long standing tradition of presenting Britten operas. This recording, from the 2000 Festival revival of Trevor Nunn’s production, features tenor Anthony Dean Griffey making his Glyndebourne debut in the title role.
Recorded live at Glyndebourne in June, July and August 2000.
